Massive Kathak & Omnion

Dancer and actress Anežka Hessová and composer and multi-instrumentalist Tomáš Reindl have been collaborating since 2000. They originally met in the dance project Damaru (with Ivana Hessová and Elena Kubičková). They have played with Damaru at many Czech and international festivals. Later they created the concept of Massive Kathak, which they are now developing and updating. Here, the electro-acoustic world music of Omnion meets the distinctive style of Anezka Hessová, combining traditional kathak dance technique with acting and musical expression (singing, accordion).
