What is SecureSwap and how does it work?
SecureSwap is our protection system that lets us invalidate the original barcode issued by an event and gives buyers a completely new ticket.
It’s a feature that’s often turned on when we have a partnership with an event, organiser or venue – that’s why you might see a green shield next to your payment at checkout.
It guarantees that a resold ticket is 100% safe and can’t also be used by the seller or other people that have accessed it before.
What are the perks of SecureSwap?
Buyers can rest assured their ticket is brand new, valid and will work at the door. It takes the worry out of buying a second-hand ticket.

My event doesn’t have SecureSwap – is my standard protection ticket still safe to use?
If an event is not using SecureSwap, you’ll receive the ticket as is from the seller. But not to worry – our standard protection safety measures will always check for fake and invalid tickets, and we still verify all sellers.
